Junior Account Executive (JAE)

Job Description

CMM is looking for a self-motivated, pro-active Junior Account Executive (JAE) to join our dynamic team. The JAE will have the opportunity to work on several well-known beauty brands and report directly to the team’s Senior Account Executive.

Responsibilities include:
• Assemble mailings and arranging delivery to clients, media outlet etc.
• Assist in creating written materials including fact sheets, press releases and pitches
• Preparing media charts
• Organize Meetings
• Event planning
• Media pitching and tracking
• Coordinate event logistics
• Assistance with planning for PR strategy

Ideal candidate will have:
• BA degree in communications-related degree
• Minimum of one year of experience
• Enthusiastic, driven personality
• A love for all things beauty

Beauty PR Intern

Job Description

Midsized public relations firm located in the trendy Soho area looking for amazing interns. You will have the opportunity to work with high-profile beauty and lifestyle accounts while honing your PR skills.

Responsibilities include:
      • Writing pitches
      • Assisting with event planning/execution
      • Product mailings
      • Monitoring media placements
      • Updating media lists

Qualities we’re look for:
      • Passion for PR and pop culture
      • Strong writing skills
      • Strong interpersonal/communication skills
      • Close attention to detail
      • Excellent organizational skills
      • Ability to multitask
      • Ability to work well both independently and within a team
      • Accuracy and thoroughness

Past internship experience in public relations is a plus, as is enthusiasm for the beauty industry.
