CMM has an immediate opening for an Account Director in the Digital Division of our SoHo office. We're a mid-sized integrated agency specializing in beauty and personal care and we’re looking for someone entrepreneurial in spirit, with a positive outlook, who has demonstrable experience managing successful teams in the digital agency space. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing a cross-functional team in the development of sound and, sometimes, out of the box, brand strategies and tactics.

Candidate MUST be in NYC and MUST have 5+ years of agency account experience.

Our Account Director is responsible for the overall health of our client relationships, for helping our clients set and achieve goals, and for nurturing relationships between the agency’s internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of how to develop successful 360 campaigns that get results and have firsthand experience creating and executing them.

This position reports to Vice President, oversees and Account Supervisor and assists with managing SOWs, answering RFPs, new business presentations, operational initiatives and managing budgets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead on client relationships

  • Help manage and motivate a team of junior account people

  • Help develop and execute social campaigns that align with the client’s integrated strategy

  • Work with the larger team to develop brand voices that resonate well across social channels and stimulate engagement and growth

  • Assist with sourcing, aligning and managing strategic brand partnerships with vendors and influencers

  • Work cross functionally with Creative and Strategy to ensure we’re developing top-notch plans, deliverables and processes for our clients

  • Stay up-to-date on new social media tools and best practices

  • Help senior team manage internal and operational duties

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in digital/social media account role

  • Excellent presentation skills

Associate Vice President, Digital Strategy

Our Associate Vice President, Digital Strategy will head up our Engagement Strategy department, supervising a team of community managers and strategists while they expand the communities of our clients. Our AVP plays a lead role in implementing and optimizing communications strategies and oversees the planning and development of all digital activations.

We’re looking for someone passionate about digital, social and storytelling. This position reports to a Vice President of Digital and assists with new business, departmental initiatives and managing budgets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of strategists and community managers

  • Provide our clients with thought leadership and account strategy in order to deliver on their business goals

  • Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops with PR, creative & strategy teams to develop plans and tactics for clients on an annual and ongoing basis

  • Develop strategies and killer briefs that align with the brand, audience, and client's business objectives

  • Take data and develop actionable insights and recommendations for reports, concepts, and plans

  • Partner with cross-discipline teams to create presentations and reports

  • Demonstrate strong social media and digital understanding and the ability to effectively communicate these ideas, proposals, scopes and questions to internal team members, as well as to clients

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in a digital strategy role

  • Experience with: managing communities, content creation and optimization, influencer marketing, listening and insights, brand planning, media planning

  • Technical knowledge of social listening and research tools

Director, Project Management (temp to perm)

We’re looking for someone entrepreneurial in spirit, with a positive outlook, who has demonstrable experience organizing successful teams in the digital agency space. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing a myriad of sound and, sometimes, out of the box, tactics in the social/digital space.

Candidate must be in NYC and must have 8+ years of agency experience, with 10+ years preferred.

Our Director, Project Manager will play a lead role in scaling the company infrastructure and strengthening Operations. The person in this role will be tasked with applying their knowledge, organizational skills and expertise to internal processes, the implementation project management best practices, and oversight financial infrastructure (i.e. invoicing, expense reconciliation, and better ways of tracking time and managing allocations.)

We’re looking for more than a day-to-day, tactical Project Manager. The person in this role will have the agency experience, vision, and confidence to develop sweeping solutions that will assist in making the agency stronger and more profitable. They will also be a trusted advisor and partner to the agency’s leadership team, working closely with the agency’s two VP’s to implement and promote adoption of these new and improved ways of working.  

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain the infrastructure necessary for teams to manage a variety of digital tactics (including social, web, ecrm, paid, influencer, events)

  • Implement best practices and optimize day-to-day project management through proactive recommendations

  • Recommend necessary project management tools, developing a protocol for use and training the team

  • Vet the company’s current financial processes and develop solutions to streamline

  • Lead account reconciliation with the Finance team and agency leadership

  • Vet project SOWs for process efficiency and ultimately, profitability

  • Develop robust burn reporting protocol and ensure that all key components are in place (time tracking, etc.) to carefully monitor project profitability

  • Ensure that, at close, all projects are reconciled in a timely manner

  • Work with the agency’s leadership team to develop operational solutions for cross-functional teams and departments

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of agency experience, with 10+ years preferred

  • Ability to work independently and proactively develop solutions

  • Technical knowledge of project management tools

  • Ability to develop detailed reports with multiple inputs, providing the agency with insight into utilization, resourcing, and profitability

Account Executive, Public Relations

We are a fast paced, high energy mid-size public relations agency and we're looking for a self-motivated, pro-active Account Executive with strong media pitching skills to join our dynamic team.  You will work on several well-known beauty and lifestyle brands and report directly to the team’s Account Director while overseeing the day to day duties of the team’s Junior Account Executive.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing strong relationships with influential members of the national consumer beauty, lifestyle and fashion press, event coordination, booking deskside appointments, and contributing to the overall success of the office.

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running on a number of our current beauty accounts and possess the following qualities:

  • Have 2+ years of experience pitching consumer beauty and lifestyle product accounts

  • Have strong media contacts with beauty editors at the top national consumer publications

  • Pitch and secure placements for our clients in national and regional consumer publications, as well as regional and national broadcast, online and trade media outlets.

  • Draft press releases, invitations, features, background information sheets, status reports, and contribute to new business/PR strategy proposals

  • Be able to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast paced atmosphere

  • Be creative, resourceful and have a keen attention to detail

  • Be able to contribute to a team atmosphere and work well with others

Senior Account Executive, Public Relations
