Public Relations Account Supervisor

We are looking for a strong, self-motivated, pro-active Account Supervisor/Publicist with extremely strong media pitching skills and media relationships to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with clients to uncover and identify business needs and objectives

  • Crafting appropriate strategies, timelines, budgets and implementation plans to achieve client goals

  • Anticipating client needs and identifying issues/concerns in order to proactively develop solutions

  • Developing broad industry expertise with a regional and national scope

  • Building trust, credibility, and client referrals.

  • Initiating regular contact with client contacts to review priorities, share counsel and garner feedback from the client to ensure that their needs are being met

  • Tracking results for clients and then determining media targets and goals based on that tracking

  • Reviewing all press materials, proposals, agendas, weekly client reports and anything to be sent to the client for accuracy, grammar, spelling, formatting and content

  • Leveraging  strong relationships with senior editors to  generate results and develop strategic opportunities for clients

  • Advising and mentoring team members on appropriate media strategy

  • Attending media tours and managing event planning

  • Overall program and budget management for clients and each campaign

  • Helping with new business including generating leads, research, developing proposals, attending new business meetings and presenting ideas

Ideal candidate will:

  • Have 4-5 years of experience pitching consumer beauty and lifestyle product accounts

  • Have strong media contacts with beauty editors at the top national consumer publications

  • Be creative, resourceful and have a keen attention to detail

  • Be able to contribute to a team atmosphere and work well with others

  • Do whatever it takes to provide the ultimate service to both clients and the media

  • Have a sense of humor, a sense of loyalty and be able to think outside of the box

  • Demonstrate ability to plan and prioritize a team’s workload, keeping Vice President informed of all developments relating to client work

  • Pitch and secure placements for our clients in national consumer press

  • Oversee performance of junior team members

  • Draft and edit press releases, invitations, background information sheets, status reports

  • Develop a greater, more detailed understanding of client business, markets and issues affecting them

Content Producer, Digital

Creative Media Marketing is a full-service integrated agency specializing in beauty. CMM has an amazing client list and is growing rapidly, so we need a few more hands on deck in our social division. We are currently looking for Content Producers based in NYC – sorry, no relocation or remote.

This is a full-time role for someone with at least 1 year of agency experience OR 2+ years of experience creating social content for brands.

You should be well versed in the Adobe CS and know how to create and edit multimedia content. We will give you a test on this so please be prepared to pass.

Your responsibilities as a Content Producer include:

  • Creating beautiful photography, videos and designs for social media channels

  • Brainstorming and researching creative concepts and activations

  • Communicating creative concepts and POVs to the client

  • Writing and designing content across all social platforms

  • Assisting with the development of brand voices that resonate with a brand's social community and stimulate engagement while growing the community fan base

  • Developing visual IDs and tone of voice for brands across social

  • Creating project and creative briefs

  • Creating a variety of presentations

  • Preproduction prop sourcing, equipment rental and securing of locations/studios

  • Maintaining our in-house studio

  • Working with client to gather assets in a timely manner

  • Staying up to date on new social media tools and best practices

  • Monitoring competitive landscape and assisting in the creation of monthly analytic reports

You should be well versed in the Adobe CS programs and know how to create and edit multimedia content. Strong photography, typography and design skills are a must.

Associate Strategist, Digital

Our Associate Digital Strategist, Influencer & Brand Partnerships works at the intersection of brand strategy, influencer engagement and creative execution. They work cross-functionally with our strategy and creative teams to craft and integrate co-branded and influencer-led content for our client’s social channels.


  • Assist in digital/social strategy development

  • Develop creative concepts for brand and influencer integrations on our client’s social channels

  • Develop and manage social influencer campaigns
