Account Manager, Digital

CMM has an immediate opening for an Account Manager in the Digital Division of our SoHo office. We're a mid-sized integrated agency specializing in beauty and personal care and we’re looking for someone entrepreneurial in spirit, with a positive outlook, who has demonstrable experience leading successful teams in the digital agency space. The ideal candidate should have expertise in developing sound and, sometimes, out of the box, brand strategies and tactics.

Candidate MUST be in NYC and MUST have 4+ years of agency account experience.

Internally, our Account Manager is responsible for the overall health of our client relationships, for helping our clients set and achieve goals, and for nurturing relationships between the agency’s internal teams. The ideal candidate will have a firm understanding of how to develop successful 360 campaigns that get results and have firsthand experience creating and executing them.

This position reports to an Account Group Supervisor and assists with managing SOWs, answering RFPs, new business presentations, operational initiatives and managing budgets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead on client relationships
  • Help manage and motivate a team of junior account people
  • Help develop and execute social campaigns that align with the client’s integrated strategy
  • Work with the larger team to develop brand voices that resonate well across social channels and stimulate engagement and growth
  • Assist with sourcing, aligning and managing strategic brand partnerships with vendors and influencers
  • Work cross functionally with Creative and Strategy to ensure we’re developing top-notch plans, deliverables and processes for our clients
  • Stay up-to-date on new social media tools and best practices
  • Help senior team manage internal and operational duties


The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in digital/social media account role
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Demonstrable success working on integrated digital strategies
  • Expertise in the social media space with knowledge of the emerging social landscape
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
  • Proactive with excellent follow through and professionalism

Associate Digital Strategist

CMM has an incredible opportunity for a personal care/beauty lover to join our fast-paced, tight-knit, talented team in New York City. No relocations please. We're a mid-sized PR & Digital agency located in Soho and we’re looking for an Associate Digital Strategist who is comfortable crafting creative, brand, influencer and integrated strategies for the social space.

You are perfect for this position if you have 2-4 years of agency experience working on campaigns at the intersection of business strategy, consumer insights, digital behavior and big ideas. 


We seek people who:

  • Have demonstrable experience strategically growing communities in the social space
  • Have experience working across fully-integrated accounts – owned, earned and paid
  • Can work well cross-functionally and support both our client services and creative teams
  • Have an expert level understanding of all relevant channels for consumer engagement and their role in brand and content marketing
  • Are entrepreneurial in spirit and can craft meaningful, insightful recommendations that inspire confidence in stakeholders on both the client and agency side
  • Have experience working with measurement and analytics platforms such as SimplyMeasured, Sprinklr, Sysomos, Google Analytics, etc.
  • Have developed and/or managed social influencer campaigns



  • Assist in digital/social strategy development
  • Provide strong counsel and recommendations, both for clients and internal teams

  • Measurement and reporting both quantitative and qualitative
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and regularly present fresh, proactive ideas to managers and clients
  • Lead and manage influencer marketing campaigns
  • Mentor and help develop junior-level team members
  • Assist team with research, ideation and presentations for new business opportunities
  • Manage social media presence at client events, including real-time monitoring and live content creation support


Preferred Educations & Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industry cred
  • 2-4 years of agency experience working on social media for a brand
  • Passion for social media
  • Knowledge of relevant Influencers and bloggers
  • Strong writing skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to work well both independently and within a team
